During this one day workshop you will be taught how manipulate clay to create your own hare.

Using a specialist sculptural clay you will be shown how to prepare clay, shape it, and be helped to construct a hare. As we go through this process you will also be shown various ways to design and develop your hare using a variety of sculptural methods.

Throughout the class you will be given bespoke tutoring giving you ample opportunity to discuss any part of the process. As we navigate our way through the day you will also have the opportunity to experiment and explore surface decoration. This will include, the application of texture, ways to paint using underglazes and how to decorate using sgraffito techniques.

Time 10am. There will be break at 12 noon and will finish at 2.30pm. (We understand that everyone works at a different pace so don’t worry if you find you need extra time, Tweeny and Louise will look after you)

Cost £70

Light refreshments of tea/coffee, fruit and cake are always a part of our workshops. Please bring a packed lunch or sandwiches can be bought from the cafe next door.
