This 2 day event stretches over the May Bank Holiday.

Day 1 Saturday 24th of May - You will be given a full introduction on how potters throw on the wheel, This includes, wedging and weighing of the clay. Then through demonstrations you will be taught the art of centering, opening and the forming of shapes. You will then have tuition throughout the session allowing you to practice and create a number of bowl shaped items. You will select up to 4 to keep.

Day 2 Monday 26th May -You will be taught how to turn/fettle and decorate your bowls using either texture or coloured slips.

Your work will be ready to collect from The Pottery about 3 weeks later, or can be posted at an extra cost.
