Tomte’s, a legendary, mischievous domestic spirit from Norway who protects your home, families and animals.

During this 3 hour session you will be given a full introduction on how to create a unique sculpture based on the Norwegian legend of Tomte. You will explore stories and legends that have helped create these iconic symbols that protect your home. During the making process you will be encouraged to use markmaking textures, and use colour to personalise your Tomte.

We will start the morning with light refreshments while your tutor discusses various legions and traditions around Tomte’s

The Pottery will then fire your work and apply a transparent glaze. All work will be ready for collection within 3 weeks.
