During this session you will be given a full introduction on how to create a unique and grand platter using the slab method.

Throughout the class you will be given bespoke tutoring giving you ample opportunity to discuss any part of the process. As we navigate our way through the designing and making of your platter, you will also have the opportunity to experiment and explore shape, and surface decoration. This will include, the application of texture, ways to paint using underglazes and how to decorate using sgraffito and printing techniques.

The Pottery will then fire your work and apply a transparent glaze. All work will be ready for collection within 3 weeks.
